The Little Firemen
Directed by Quincy Perkins
Several brave and appealing orphaned teen boys living 11,000 feet high in the Andes Mountains, “like ghosts in the mountains,” according to a local, devote their days to saving lives along one of the world’s most dangerous highways. Their tools are simple, almost primitive. They get around on handmade wooden carts and cheerfully recount the lives they’ve saved in a region flanked by the towering mountain range and filled with ruthless drug traffickers.
